Hi, I’m Gloria!
I married my best friend in 2013 after four years of best friendship. I caught his eye back in 2009 when I started singing a song from a musical themed episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. He caught my eye the first time we officially met— he hugged me, gently rested his head on mine, and he didn't let go. Something you should never do when meeting/ hugging a stranger for the first time. I giggled and said "well this could get awkward" and this smooth son of a gun said "this will never be awkward". Hot dang. So now we have been best pals for 12 years and our dog Tex is the light of our lives.
I’m a big fan of Alamo Drafthouse— seriously i’m there 3ish times a month, sometimes more when Oscar or Marvel movies drop.
I love the excitement of football season (go Broncos and Hook 'Em Horns!), traveling, eating french fries, and visiting family and friends back home in the piney woods of east Texas. I am a big Justin Timberlake fan. He tweeted me once. I love Parks and Rec so much that I have treat yo self day on my calendar. It's October 13th just in case you want to write it down as well.
Lately: Great British Baking Show and P. Terry’s got me through the pandemic. Ted Lasso, Schitt’s Creek, and Fleabag destroyed me. I watched 32 seasons of Survivor in 3 months. You do the math. I listen to The Daily every morning while I drink my coffee and it’s never been more apparent to me that I am in my 30’s. I love the enneagram so if you do too let’s discuss! I’ve been trying to take more photos without my hipster hat but I miss it.
I love fall, I drink pumpkin spice latte's, and I don't care who knows!
